Linux Boot Times
This post to the Fedora development list shows some pretty incredible stuff. Through a number of what seem like trivial changes, he seems to be able to get booted and logged in to Gnome 40 seconds. Amazing. Hope this makes it in to Fedora Core 4.

Wow...This rocks. I sure hope that it makes it into FC4. That might even make me go back to Fedora :-O
